Need “MO Recommendation” For Motor Vehicles
If your suspension time is up and Motor Vehicles refers you to the IDRC, it means you are considered a “Multiple Offender (MO).” A MO is a person that has three or more DUI/Refusals in his/her lifetime. You might have completed all IDRC requirements years ago and still need an MO Recommendation.
All MOs must attend a treatment program for an assessment if they have not been in treatment within the last year. If the assessment indicates treatment is needed, treatment must be completed before Motor Vehicles is notified. Motor Vehicles will not issue a license without this MO Recommendation.
