2019 Family Guide to Juvenile Justice
The Office of Youth Services Planning coordinates the Youth Services Commission that serves as the primary advisory body to the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners regarding issues related to youth at risk or involved in Family Court.

Area Served: Monmouth County
Services Provided: Responsible for planning and funding of services for youth involved or at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system through a county Youth Services Commission. Administers the State/Community Partnership Grant, the Family Court Services Funds, the Juvenile Accountability Block Grant and a Division of Youth and Family Services Grant in Aid at the local level. Prepares a three-year Monmouth County Comprehensive Youth Services Plan, which includes services and sanctions for juveniles adjudicated or charged as delinquent and programs for the prevention of juvenile delinquency. Develops linkages with communities, schools and key youth serving agencies and organizations and coordinates planning and related activities with other appropriate county bodies.
