Monmouth County History Regrant Program
for General Operating Support & Special Projects

The Monmouth County Historical Commission (MCHC) offers a competitive History Regrant Program to support and enrich Monmouth County's historical heritage. Funded by the New Jersey Historical Commission, the program aims to strengthen local history organizations, foster public engagement and preserve the county's rich history.

 Two types of grants are available for the 2026 program cycle:

  • General Operating Support (GOS): Provides funding for the core operations of nonprofit historical organizations.
  • Special Project (SP): Supports public-facing history projects and programs undertaken by history organizations, other nonprofits, government agencies, schools and libraries.
