County Administrator Teri O'Connor
Teri O’Connor has served as the Monmouth County Administrator since 2010. As Monmouth County's administrator, she oversees an operating budget of more than $500 million that supports the largest lending library system in the state, a nationally accredited park system and an exceptional community college and vocational school system.
Teri supervises, directs and manages all County administrative departments while leading, managing, and assuring effective and efficient delivery of County services. One of Teri’s main focuses is to maintain the high standard of services county residents have come to expect with the goal of containing costs to taxpayers.
Prior to be appointed as County Administrator, Teri served as Deputy County Administrator and as the Administrative Services Department Director, working closely with the County Administrator and directly supervising multiple county divisions.
Teri earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a Master of Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
