Commissioners present early voting
proclamation
Early voting to take place Oct. 24
through Nov. 1 in New Jersey
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners presented Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon, Board
of Elections Chairwoman Eileen Kean and Superintendent of Elections Christopher
Siciliano with a proclamation promoting awareness of early voting options
during a Workshop Meeting on Oct. 22.
“My fellow Commissioners and I encourage every
eligible voter in Monmouth County to participate in the 2026 General Election,”
said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Voters have several options:
early in-person voting from Saturday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 1; voting
by mail; or voting in person at your local polling place on Election Day,
Tuesday, Nov. 3. We encourage everyone to choose the option that works best for
them and make their voice heard.”
“During the early in-person voting period there will
be 10 convenient locations designated throughout Monmouth County,” said
Commissioner Deputy Director Dominick “Nick” DiRocco, liaison to the Monmouth
County Clerk’s Office. “From Oct. 24 to Nov. 1, each location will be open
Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6
p.m. Residents of any town in Monmouth County may vote at any one of the early
in-person voting locations throughout the County.”
“I want to commend the County Clerk, Board of
Elections, Superintendent of Elections and their dedicated staff for working
together to ensure voters have clear, accurate information about when, where
and how they can vote,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the
Monmouth County Board of Elections and Superintendent of Elections. “Participating
in our elections is an important way to strengthen our democratic process and
we encourage every eligible voter to exercise their right to vote.”
“I’m proud that Monmouth
County has ranked number one in early voting turnout in every General Election
since early voting began in 2021. This achievement reflects our commitment to
educating voters about their voting options and ensuring they have access to
the information they need to participate,” said Monmouth County Clerk Christine
Giordano Hanlon. “Voters can access comprehensive election information through
our website, MonmouthCountyVotes.gov , and our free mobile app, Monmouth County
Votes.”
