County Commissioners honor Dr. Louis Moore
for selection as Superintendent of the Year

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners honored Red Bank Regional High School District Superintendent of Schools Dr. Louis Moore for being selected by the Monmouth County Superintendents’ Roundtable as its 2026-27 Superintendent of the Year during their Workshop Meeting on Sept. 24.

“Congratulations to Dr. Moore for being selected by his fellow Monmouth County superintendents as Superintendent of the Year for 2026-27,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Dr. Moore was named superintendent by the Red Bank Regional Board of Education in April 2016 and joined the district that July. This well-deserved honor reflects his decade of hard work and dedication to the Red Bank Regional High School District.”

A certificate of recognition was presented by Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the Monmouth County Superintendent of Schools, on behalf of the Board, to Dr. Moore.

“Following his tenure as Principal of Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, Dr. Moore joined Red Bank Regional as superintendent in 2016, where he leads a district serving approximately 1,300 students in grades nine through 12,” said Commissioner Anderson. “Working closely with the Board of Education and staff, Dr. Moore continues to focus on strengthening academic performance and creating opportunities for student success. As a Red Bank Regional High School alum, I congratulate Dr. Moore on receiving this honor and wish him continued success.”

Red Bank Regional High School, located in Little Silver, enrolls students from the boroughs of Red Bank, Little Silver and Shrewsbury.
