Commissioners announce
Open
for Business in Monmouth initiative
TINTON FALLS, NJ –
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners announced the launch of the
Open for Business in Monmouth initiative at Bell Works Fort Monmouth on
Thursday, June 11.
“Small businesses
remain the backbone of our local economy, and we continue to see strong
entrepreneurship and expansion across the County,” said Commissioner Director
Thomas A. Arnone. “Today, we are proud to launch ‘Open for Business in
Monmouth’, which is a countywide initiative that supports new and expanding
businesses.”
Open for Business in
Monmouth is a program designed to support, promote, and celebrate businesses
across all 53 municipalities. As part of the Open for Business in Monmouth
initiative, the County is inviting businesses, municipalities, and chambers of
commerce to fill out the form below to request County participation in, or
coordination of, ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new businesses, expansions,
relocations, grand openings, and major milestones.
Commissioner
Director Arnone was joined by Mayor of the Borough of Tinton Falls Risa Clay; Controller
and COO of Inspired by Somerset Development, Mordechai Sidell; and Executive
Director of the Eastern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce Jhanna Evan.
“As Mayor of Tinton
Falls, I’m especially encouraged by the opportunities emerging throughout our
region. By Supporting small businesses, attracting investment, fostering
innovation, we strengthen our economy, create jobs and enhance quality of life
for our residents,” said Mayor Clay.
“Bell Works Fort
Monmouth has experienced tremendous momentum over the past year, evolving into
a vibrant destination where businesses, entrepreneurs and the broader community
can come together,” said Sidell. “The building is now nearly fully leased,
welcoming a mix of corporate headquarters, retailers and community-focused
amenities that have transformed the property into a true hub. We’re proud to be
part of Monmouth County’s continued growth and excited about what lies ahead
for Bell Works and the surrounding community.”

Commissioner
Director Arnone encouraged businesses having upcoming ribbon cuttings to fill
out the online form.
“Businesses can
participate by filling out the online ribbon cutting form which can be found on
the County’s website, visitmonmouth.com. We also ask municipalities to
p[promote the program and chambers across the County to engage their members
about this wonderful opportunity,” said Commissioner Director Arnone.
Open for Business in
Monmouth will also help businesses celebrate milestone anniversaries.
“If your business is
celebrating a milestone anniversary, like 10, 25, or 50 years and beyond, we
ask that you email openforbusiness@visitmonmouth.com so we can recognize you
and highlight your business,” said Director Arnone. “Businesses celebrating milestone
anniversaries will receive a commemorative certificate recognizing the
contributions to our communities and local economies. We’ll also highlight
these businesses on the County’s social media channels so residents can join us
in celebrating their success. It’s a simple way to honor the businesses whose
longevity, dedication, and hard work continue to make Monmouth County a great
place to live, work, and do business.”
