County Commissioners congratulate Asbury Park and Avon-by-the-Sea for being named top 10 beaches in New Jersey
USA Today recognized Monmouth County towns

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners congratulates Asbury Park and Avon-by-the-Sea for being ranked among the top beaches in New Jersey by USA TODAY.

“The national recognitions highlight Monmouth County’s shoreline as one of the premier beach destinations in New Jersey and across the Country,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Having both Avon-by-the-Sea and Asbury Park recognized among New Jersey’s top beaches reflect the hard work of our local communities, beach staff, small businesses, and residents who take pride in making our shoreline welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.”

According to the publication, the USA TODAY rankings are determined by an expert panel and readers to determine the best beaches in the New Jersey.
