County Commissioners recognize Frank Wells for retirement from Monmouth
County Library Commission
FREEHOLD, NJ – The
Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners recognized Frank Wells on
retirement from the Monmouth County Library Commission during a Commissioner
Meeting on May 28.
“On behalf of my fellow
Commissioners, I am excited to recognize the retirement of Frank Wells as he
concludes his service on the Monmouth County Library Commission,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Mr. Wells has long demonstrated a
strong commitment to strengthening our library system and supporting its
mission to serve residents across Monmouth County. We thank him for his years
of dedicated service and valuable contributions to our communities.”
Wells first joined the
Library Commission in July 2001 when he was appointed to fill an unexpired
term. Following his initial appointment, he continued to serve through a full
five-year term. In 2010, he returned to the Commission and has served as
Chairperson since 2020.
The certificate of
recognition was presented by Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the
Monmouth County Library System, on behalf of the Board.
“Frank
has dedicated his life to public service, having served in the U.S. Army, and
closer to home, including decades of service on the Union Beach Planning Board,
as well as the Union Beach Borough Council and the Monmouth County Library
System,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the Monmouth County
Library System “We are grateful for Frank’s leadership, dedication, and
unwavering commitment to not only the Library System, but Monmouth County and
our nation as a whole. Wishing Frank all the best in a well-earned retirement.”
