County Commissioners recognize
Colts Neck High School Spring interns

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners recognized and thanked seven students from Colts Neck High School who completed internships in various County departments during the spring of 2026.

The recognition took place at the Commissioners Workshop Meeting on May 28.

“Internships provide students with meaningful hands-on experience as they begin exploring future career opportunities,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “These experiences give students valuable exposure in a professional work environment while helping them better understand how County offices operate. We appreciate the continued partnership with Colts Neck High School and commend the students for their hard work and dedication as members of the Monmouth County team this spring. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”

“We are proud to recognize these outstanding students for successfully completing their internships and demonstrating such professionalism and dedication throughout the program,” said Commissioner Dominick “Nick” DiRocco, liaison to the Department of Human Resources. “Opportunities like these help prepare the next generation of leaders by giving students meaningful real-world experience and a stronger connection to their community.”

  • Katherine Mirne – Department of Public Information
  • John Sorsaia – Department of Finance
  • Rachael Rahanoff – Sheriff’s Office
  • Joseph Puma – Sheriff’s Office
  • Mahi Patel – Prosecutor’s Office
  • Finley Weisbrot – Prosecutor’s Office
