County Commissioners proclaim May 10-16 as
National Police Week
FREEHOLD, NJ – The
Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners recognized May 10-16 as National Police
Week during a workshop meeting on May 28th to thank Monmouth County’s law
enforcement officers for their service.
“We observe Nation Police
Week and recognize the courageous men and women who serve in law enforcement,
especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “On behalf of the Monmouth County Board
of County Commissioners, I thank all law enforcement officers for their
continued dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our communities.”
The proclamation was
presented to Monmouth County Sheriff’s Officers by Commissioner Susan M. Kiley,
liaison to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, on behalf of the Board.
“During
National Police Week we pay tribute to the law enforcement officers who have
lost their lives while serving and protecting our communities,” said
Commissioner Susan M. Kiley, liaison to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.
“We are deeply grateful for the bravery and devotion they demonstrate in keeping
our communities safe.”
