Help Monmouth County
name the newest recycling superhero!
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County
Board of County Commissioners is asking seventh grade students across Monmouth
County to help name the County’s newest recycling superhero.
“My fellow Commissioners and I recently
unveiled a new recycling education trailer, which features interactive video
games and a recycling superhero,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone.
“Now our superhero needs a name and we are inviting all seventh graders in
Monmouth County to submit a name for him! The winning name will be featured in
the recycling education trailer as it travels to events across the County.”
Contest Rules:
- Open
to all seventh grade students in Monmouth County
- Submissions
will be accepted through Friday, May 22
- Each
entry must include a letter explaining the chosen name and the importance
of recycling and keeping communities clean
- Submissions

The contest winner will be
recognized at a Board of County Commissioners’ meeting at the Hall of Records
in Freehold.
The County welcomes schools and
community organizations to learn more about the recycling education trailer and
request a visit.
“The mobile unit features six
interactive gaming stations, where multiple people are able to play at the same
time,” said Commissioner Director Arnone. “Each station includes
custom-designed games that star our superhero and the importance of recycling
properly and how small everyday actions can make a big difference in protecting
our planet. We encourage schools and community groups to bring this experience
to their next event.”
