County Commissioners proclaim
March 2026 as Craft
Beverage Month
Celebrate
100 days until FIFA World Cup
BRADLEY BEACH, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners proclaimed
March 2026 as Craft Beverage Month in Monmouth County during a kickoff event held
on March 3 at D’Arcy’s Tavern in Bradley Beach.
“Today marks 100 days until the start of the
FIFA World Cup, which will take place right here in New Jersey. We expect our
craft beverage establishments to serve as premier tourism destinations for
visitors from around the world,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone.
“For the third consecutive year, my fellow Commissioners and I are proud to
designate March as Craft Beverage Month in Monmouth County, home to the largest
number of craft beverage establishments in the State. With the FIFA World Cup
coming this summer and the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, we
anticipate an exciting year ahead for our local businesses and visitors alike.”
In addition to Commissioner Director Arnone,
remarks were made by James Davis of FC Monmouth; Evan Dabby, CEO of New Jersey
Youth Soccer; Tom McGill, the owner of D’Arcy’s Tavern; and Mike Ziolkowski,
owner of Tall Oaks Farm and Brewery and the Bradley Brew Project.
“FC Monmouth is high-level soccer. We represent
Monmouth County all across the country and we are looking forward to a busy
summer,” said Davis. “FC Monmouth wants to be your local team and we want to
support our breweries, distilleries and pizzerias.”
“New Jersey Youth Soccer represents 130,000 players
throughout New Jersey,” said Dabby. “I could not be happier about what is
happening in this area. We are excited to support everyone here.”
“It is a privilege to host this event,” said McGill.
“This is a special time for us and a big year with the FIFA World Cup. It is
hard to believe we are now in our 18th year. The secret to our
longevity is the passion of the soccer community and our staff who embraces
that passion.”
“Our business has been quite an adventure for us and
we have come so far to get to this point,” said Ziolkowski. “Please find local bars that
support local breweries and please support local craft manufacturers. Money you
spend goes back into the community.”
