County Commissioners proclaim Monmouth
County as the Pizza Capital of New Jersey
FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Commissioner Director
Thomas A. Arnone, on behalf of the Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners, proclaimed Monmouth County as the Pizza Capital of New Jersey
during the State of the County address on Feb. 5.
“We are incredibly proud of our pizzerias and our
small business community and we believe that our pizzerias are truly the best
in New Jersey,” said Commissioner Director Arnone. “So, we have officially
proclaimed Monmouth County as the Pizza Capital of New Jersey! National Pizza
Day is February 9th, so make sure to visit your favorite shop!”
In addition, Commissioner Director Arnone shared
details about a free social media video program through the Slice in Monmouth
program.
“My
fellow Commissioners and I are thrilled to announce that we are offering our
Slice in Monmouth members a free social media video to help promote their
businesses,” said Commissioner Director Arnone. “If you know any pizzerias that
may be interested, go to sliceinmonmouth.com and fill out our online form.”
