County Commissioners recognize Senior
Planner for receiving 2025 New Jersey Association for Floodplain Management
Leadership Award
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners presented a certificate of recognition to Bridget Neary, Senior
Planner in the Division of Planning, for receiving the 2025 New Jersey
Association for Floodplain Management Leadership Award during its Dec. 11
Workshop Meeting.
The certificate was presented to Neary by
Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the Division of Planning, on behalf of
the Board.
“My fellow Commissioners and I would like to
congratulate Bridget on this remarkable accomplishment,” said Commissioner
Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Her contributions to our residents are greatly
appreciated, and we are proud to have her as part of our workforce.”
“According to the New Jersey Association for
Floodplain Management, the award recognizes leaders who have made significant
contributions to the field and Bridget’s work exemplifies the importance of
this program,” said Commissioner Anderson. “She has helped municipalities map
high-risk, flood-prone areas, develop shared service programs, and secure
funding that has significantly reduced costs for both taxpayers and local
governments. Thank you, Bridget, for your diligent service to Monmouth County
residents.”
