Manalapan Township Shared Services agreements
Township achieves
cost savings through multiple agreements
FREEHOLD,
NJ – As part of their series on successful shared services partnerships, the
Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is proud to showcase the shared
services agreements between Monmouth County and Manalapan Township.
Manalapan
Township is one of Monmouth County’s 53 municipalities that consistently utilize
shared services agreements to help reduce expenses and improve operational
efficiency within its municipality.
“Monmouth
County is proud to be a true partner to our municipalities, like Manalapan
Township, and we demonstrate this partnership through our thriving shared
services program,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the
Office of Shared Services. “Shared services agreements provide municipalities
with essential services at a reduced cost, ultimately saving taxpayers money.”
“Shared
services are smart government — eliminating duplication and putting our
residents first while getting the most for your taxpayer dollars,” said
Manalapan Mayor Eric Nelson. “The continued partnership between Manalapan
Township and Monmouth County is a win for everyone in our community.”
Manalapan
Township currently participates in several shared services, including the
Commodity Resale Agreement, iTaxMap, Municipal Assistance Agreement, OPRS-RIM,
Public Safety Answering Point, and Tax Board MOD IV.
The
Monmouth County Office of Shared Services facilitates partnerships with local
government entities, providing services, equipment, and resources to help
reduce costs and increase efficiency. For more
