Monmouth
County provides assistance to
Hazlet Public Library with HVAC Repairs
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners aided the Hazlet Public Library following temporary closures due
to air conditioning issues.
“Monmouth County is committed to being a true
partner to our municipalities and stepping in when help is needed,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Department of Facilities
Management. “On behalf of my fellow Commissioners, I want to thank the
dedicated employees in our Department of Facilities Management for working with
Hazlet Township to figure out a way to reopen their library doors quickly.”
Hazlet Township contacted the County for assistance
in diagnosing an issue with their library's air conditioning system. The County
provided a temporary fix while a long-term repair plan was developed, with an
estimated timeline of six months to a year.
“The Monmouth County Library System provides
invaluable resources and programming to our community, so it's crucial that
branches remain open and accessible,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison
to the Monmouth County Library System. “If you haven’t visited one of our 13
branches, I encourage you to take some time this summer to discover all the
great things the Library System has to offer.”
