Borough has received dispatching services for over fifteen years

FREEHOLD, NJ – As part of their series on successful shared services partnerships, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners would like to showcase the Shared Services agreements between Monmouth County and the Borough of Tinton Falls.

Tinton Falls joined a Public Safety Answering Point Agreement in 2009 with the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, Communications Division. Through this, the Monmouth County 911 Communications Center can distribute all calls to municipalities by call relay, transfer, or direct emergency dispatch.

"The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Center continues to serve as the industry standard in emergency response, thanks to the incredible leadership of Sheriff Shaun Golden and the hard work of his staff," said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Office of Shared Services. “Shared service agreements such as the Public Safety Answering Point Agreement that the Borough of Tinton Falls has with the County provides high quality emergency response while doing so in a cost-effective manner."

“Our most beneficial shared service agreement to date is with the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, who provides our Borough with high quality, cost effective and efficient emergency dispatching services. As one of the first municipal agencies to transition to this shared service over fifteen years ago, we are pleased to continue with this beneficial partnership,” said Mayor of the Borough of Tinton Falls, Risa Clay.

“Our partnership through the Public Safety Answering Point Agreement ensures that emergency calls and dispatch services are handled promptly and effectively. The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division has a great working relationship with Tinton Falls and is proud to continue to provide them with professional, reliable, and coordinated emergency response services,” said Sheriff Shaun Golden.

Tinton Falls also holds other Shared Services Agreements with Monmouth County such as the Municipal Assistance, Commodity Resale, MOD IV, iTax Map and Transportation Services.
