County Commissioner Director provides update on
power outages from severe weather
JCP&L has set up water and ice pick-up locations
FREEHOLD, NJ – On behalf of the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners, Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone issued the following statement regarding the power outages throughout Monmouth County from severe weather that occurred on Thursday, June 19.
I have been in constant contact with JCP&L regarding the power outages caused by Thursday’s severe weather. They’ve informed me that fewer than 2,000 residents across the State remain without power. Most are expected to be restored tonight, with full restoration anticipated by midnight tomorrow.
In response to the outages, JCP&L has opened water and ice pick-up locations at the following retail stores in Monmouth County.

Acme - 616 Newman Springs Rd., Lincroft
Food Circus - 362 Broad St., Red Bank

Food Circus - 9 Rt 36, Bayshore Plaza, Atlantic Highlands
Shop Rite - 1500 Rt 35, Middletown
Shop Rite - 280 Rt 9 N., Morganville
Shop Rite - 3140 State Rt 35, Hazlet
Shop Rite - 318 Lloyd Rd., Aberdeen
Shop Rite - 3585 Rt 9, Freehold
