County Commissioners recognize Long
Branch Public Schools Superintendent of Schools
as Latino Superintendent of the Year
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners recognized Long Branch Public Schools Superintendent Francisco E.
Rodriguez for being named Superintendent of the Year by the New Jersey
Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (NJALAS) during the
Commissioner Workshop Meeting on May 6.
“The honor awarded to Superintendent Rodriguez
highlights his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to education,”
said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Throughout his career, he has
worked tirelessly to ensure students receive the resources, support, and
opportunities they need to succeed. We congratulate him on this well-deserved
recognition.”
“Under Superintendent Rodriguez’s
leadership, Long Branch Public Schools has achieved a 96% graduation rate,
High-Performing District status, with nearly 10% of graduates earning the Seal
of Biliteracy,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson. “Mr. Rodriguez is the first
Long Branch Superintendent to graduate from the Long Branch Public School
System since the district’s founding in 1873. We commend him for his
achievements and wish him continued success.”
