County Commissioners proclaim
May 5-9 as Teacher Appreciation Week
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners recognized May 5-9 as Teacher Appreciation Week and thanked the
County’s educators for their dedication and commitment to learning during a Commissioner
Workshop Meeting on May 6.
“During Teacher Appreciation Week, my fellow Commissioners
and I proudly recognize the nearly four million educators in public, private,
and charter schools who dedicate themselves to supporting our students,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Teachers do more than educate; they
inspire, mentor, and help shape the next generation of leaders. Their
commitment in the classroom makes a lasting difference in the lives of students
and the future of our communities.”
“We
proudly designate May 5-9 as Teacher
Appreciation Week to honor the dedicated men and women who educate and inspire
our students,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson. “We are grateful for their
commitment to this vital role, and I encourage everyone to take a moment to
thank a teacher who made a difference in their life. The impact teachers have
on their students is truly unforgettable.”
