County Commissioners recognize
May 11-17 as National Police Week
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners recognized May 11-17 as National Police Week and thanked law
enforcement officers for their service during the Commissioner Workshop Meeting
on May 6.
“This week we honor National Police Week, a time to
pay tribute to the brave men and women who serve in law enforcement,
particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “On behalf of the Monmouth County Board
of County Commissioners, I extend my deepest gratitude to all law enforcement
officers for their unwavering dedication, sacrifice and commitment to
protecting our communities.”
“During National Police Week we pay special
recognition to law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line
of duty for the safety and protection of others,” said Commissioner Deputy
Director Susan M. Kiley, liaison to the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office. “We
cannot thank these brave men and women enough for their service and for the
effort they put forth on a daily basis to keep us safe.”
