County Commissioners commend MCVSD for ranking
among highest SAT Scores in New Jersey
Five MCVSD schools included in top 25
according to State data
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners
congratulates five Monmouth County Vocational School District (MCVSD) schools
for ranking among the highest average SAT scores in New Jersey.
“Congratulations
to the students of the MCVSD for achieving this impressive accomplishment,”
said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “The SAT is a rigorous exam, and
these impressive scores reflect the students’ knowledge, discipline, and
commitment. This achievement also reflects the tireless efforts of faculty,
families and school leaders who foster an environment of academic excellence.”
High Technology High School placed second in New
Jersey with a combined SAT score of 1,512 (out of a possible 1,600);
Biotechnology High School placed fourth (1,474); the Monmouth County Academy of
Allied Health and Science placed seventh (1,398); the Marine Academy of Science
and Technology placed 15th (1,329); and Communications High School
placed 19th (1,312). Statewide, New Jersey students averaged 1,049
on the SAT exam. The average SAT score nationwide is 1,024.

the MCVSD. “MCVSD’s reputation for excellence is well-earned, and its students
are a shining reflection of the District’s values and vision. Through

the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and professionals.”
