County Commissioners proclaimed March
as Women’s History Month
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners proclaimed March as Women’s History Month during their workshop meeting
on Thursday, March 27.
Women’s History Month is celebrated to honor and
recognize the achievements made by women and raise awareness of women in
history and their impact on society.
“The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is proud
to proclaim March as Women’s
History Month,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Monmouth County is home to incredible
women in leadership positions such as County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon,
Surrogate Maureen T. Raisch and multiple elected officials and government
administrators. Their work is an inspiration to all of us and helps build a
strong community.”
