Commissioners to host Older Adults
Resource Fair at Library Headquarters on March 6
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County
Commissioners is proud to announce an Older Adults Resource Fair will be held
at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, from
3-6 p.m. Thursday, March 6.
“The Older Adults Resource Fair, presented by the
Division on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans Services, will welcome guests to
explore a wide range of programs and services for older adults and for
caregivers,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Ensuring the
County’s seniors are aware of all the services that are available to them is a
priority of the County Commissioners. We ask those who plan on attending the
March 6 event to preregister by calling 732-431-7450.”
“The Older Adults Resource Fair will allow attendees
to connect with local agencies that will offer assistance with many services,”
said Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley, liaison to the Division on
Aging, Disabilities and Veterans Services. “Information such as benefits
eligibility screening, healthcare, home care, nutrition programs, social
activities, utility assistance and more will be available to attendees. We look
forward to hosting this event.”
