Commissioners congratulate Forrestdale School for being chosen as a National Blue Ribbon School

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners honored Forrestdale School in Rumson for being selected as a 2024 Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School at the Commissioner Workshop Meeting on Thursday, December 12^th.

“Congratulations to Forrestdale School for being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2024,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “As one of the 356 schools in the country that received this designation this year, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is excited to recognize the hard work of Forrestdale School’s students, staff, administration and parents.”

The Blue Ribbon Schools Award recognizes those schools’ exceptional students and educators and their ability to serve as a guide to an effective learning environment. According to the U.S. Department of Education, Forrestdale School’s data-driven instruction, collaboration with families and their community, and their daily strive to “do education the right way,” have been key components in their success.

“Blue Ribbon Schools serve as models of effective and innovative practices for educators across the nation and showcase effective teaching methods and offer robust professional development for their staff,” said Commissioner Erik Anderson, liaison to the Monmouth County Superintendent of Schools. “Congratulations to Forrestdale School on this remarkable accomplishment.”
