Commissioners honor student recipients of
NJAC Foundation 2023 Scholarship Awards
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth
County Board of County Commissioners is proud to honor the recipients of the
New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) Foundation 2023 Scholarship Awards at
its meeting on Aug. 10.
The five students who earned the
scholarships from the foundation recently graduated from high schools in the
Monmouth County Vocational School District and will continue their education at
a New Jersey county or state college/university.
The following students were
presented with scholarships:

Rachel Philip – NJAC Foundation 2023 Amazon Scholarship Award

Kaitlyn Chow – NJAC Foundation 2023 Investors Bank Scholarship Award

Ryan Hausmann – NJAC Foundation 2023 SHI International Corporation
Scholarship Award

Aliya Grinberg – NJAC Foundation 2023 Amazon Scholarship Award
·
Kylie Lin – NJAC Foundation 2023 AT&T Scholarship Award
“I want to thank the New Jersey
Association of Counties and the sponsors of these scholarships for recognizing
our outstanding students,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone. “Thank
you as well to Superintendent of Schools Charles R. Ford Jr. and Assistant
Superintendent Sean Meehan for your leadership of the vocational school
district.”
“We are incredibly proud of our
vocational schools for continuing to shine as some of the best schools in the
State,” said Commissioner Deputy Director Nick DiRocco, liaison to Monmouth
County Vocational School District and NJAC. “Thank you to the NJAC Foundation
for recognizing our remarkable students and I wish them luck as they continue
their academic journeys.”
“I am really
proud of the work we do at the NJAC Foundation, and we could not do it without
the vocational/technical schools,” said John Donnadio, Executive Director of
NJAC. “The Monmouth County Vocational School District does a tremendous job
preparing these students for work after school or furthering their education. We
get better candidates every year and this year is no different.”

Health and Science, with the New Jersey
Association of Counties Foundation 2023 Amazon Scholarship Award during a
meeting on Aug. 10. Philip will be attending Rutgers University in the fall.
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of
County Commissioners presented Kaitlyn Chow, graduate of Biotechnology High
School, with the New Jersey Association of Counties Foundation 2023 Investors
Bank Scholarship Award during a meeting on Aug. 10. Chow will be attending
Rutgers University in the fall.
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of
County Commissioners presented Ryan Hausmann, graduate of High Technology High
School, with the New Jersey Association of Counties Foundation 2023 SHI
International Corporation Scholarship Award during a meeting on Aug. 10.
Hausmann will be attending Rowan University in the fall.
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of
County Commissioners presented Aliya Grinberg, graduate of High Technology High
School, with the New Jersey Association of Counties Foundation 2023 Amazon
Scholarship Award during a meeting on Aug. 10. Grinberg will be attending the
College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in the fall.
FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of
County Commissioners presented Kylie Lin, graduate of High Technology High
School, with the New Jersey Association of Counties Foundation 2023 AT&T
Scholarship Award during a meeting on Aug. 10. Lin will be attending Rutgers
University in the fall.
