County Commissioners and Jersey Shore BlueClaws announce “Monmouth County Day” on June 11

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is proud to announce that the Jersey Shore BlueClaws will host “Monmouth County Day” during their June 11 baseball game at the ShoreTown Ballpark located at 2 Stadium Way in Lakewood.

“The Board of County Commissioners and I are excited to partner with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws to host ‘Monmouth County Day,’ on Sunday, June 11, at 1:05 p.m. ‘Monmouth County Day’ will include special programming as the BlueClaws help celebrate Monmouth County and highlight all of the incredible things to do and see in our County,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Division of Tourism. “The BlueClaws have been a great addition to the Jersey Shore over the last two decades and we look forward to being at ShoreTown Ballpark for a fun day with the BlueClaws and celebrating Monmouth County.”

The BlueClaws, a minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, will be playing the Hudson Valley Renegades, an affiliate of the New York Yankees. Gates open one hour prior to the first pitch.

“We invite residents to join us for this fun afternoon and show your Monmouth County spirit,” said Director Arnone.
