Navesink
River Road reopened to traffic
MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The
Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce that
Navesink River Road (County Route 12A), in the area of Huber Woods Park in
Middletown, has been reopened to traffic this afternoon.
“As promised, Navesink River Road
was reopened to traffic in advance of the holiday weekend,” said
Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Public Works &
Engineering Department. “We would like to thank our residents and all
who traveled in the area for their patience during the closure.”
The remaining project work will be completed under
alternating lanes of traffic during working hours.
In total, the County maintains
approximately 1,000 lane miles of roads, 980 bridges and culverts and 250
traffic signals and beacons.
