Bring perennials to Tatum Park, Middletown (Red Hill Road entrance), in one-quart, one-gallon or two-gallon containers and take home the same size and number of plants. Please label all plants. Houseplants may also be exchanged, but no annuals please. Plant intake from 8:30-10 a.m. Plant selection from 10-11:30 a.m. FREE!

Join us at Bayshore Waterfront Park in Port Monmouth for this hands-on nature program. Discover what lurks in Sandy Hook Bay when the sun goes down as we drag a long net through the water. Please bring a flashlight. Closed-toe shoes are required. Meet on the beach the Seabrook-Wilson House. Weather permitting. Limited to 40 participants; first come, first served. FREE!

You will also learn the difference between a therapy and a service animal, what to consider when adopting or rescuing an animal, and how to properly meet an animal that you are unfamiliar with. Held at the Freneau Woods Park Visitor Center, Aberdeen. Open to ages 9-14, with adult. FREE!
