Freeholders wish everyone
a safe, happy July 4th

County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 for holiday observance

FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend, and reminds residents that most County offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday. All County parks and golf courses will be open.

“This great holiday should remind all Americans that we live in a free country,” Freeholder Director Gary J. Rich, Sr. said. “We need to remember the American patriots who wrote and adopted the Declaration of Independence. We should also remember and thank our veterans and current military personnel who have fought for freedom to endure.”
