Freeholders adjust August meeting schedule

Board changes date of early August meetings

 

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders has adjusted its August 2014 meeting schedule with a change to one of its meeting dates in August.

 

The Board will meet on Thursday, August 7 instead of the following Thursday.

 

On Thursday, August 7, the Board’s workshop meeting will be held at 2 p.m. and the Board’s regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room on the second floor of the Hall of Records at 1 East Main St. in Freehold.  

 

“The Board of Chosen Freeholders seeks to inform residents and business of any changes to our meeting schedule so that they may make adjustments if they wish to attend,” Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry said. “We encourage participation in our public meetings and suggest that people check the County website for the most accurate dates and locations.”

 

The Board of Chosen Freeholders will also meet on August 28.  The workshop meeting will be at 1 p.m. in the Hall of Records in Freehold and the regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Millstone Town Hall at 470 Stage Coach Rd. in Millstone.

 

The Board of Chosen Freeholders normally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month unless otherwise indicated. Generally, workshop meetings are held at 2 p.m. with all regular meetings held at 7 p.m. in the Hall of Records in Freehold. Evening meetings on the fourth Thursdays of the month in March through September are rotated throughout the County as was done in the past. Workshop meetings on those travel days are held in Freehold at 1 p.m.
